If you can not  access the routers setup interface or simply forgot the router s password, you may reset the router to factory default.

 

 

STEP-1

Connect your computer to the router by cable, then log into the router by entering http://192.168.1.1.

 

 

 

 

 

STEP-2

User Name and Password are required, by default both are admin in lowercase letter. Click Login. 

 

 


 

STEP-3

First, the Easy Setup page will turn up for basic and quick settings, Click " Advanced Setup ". 

 

 


 

 

STEP-4

Click " Management -> Reload Factory Settings " on the left navigation bar.  

 

 

 

STEP-5    Click " Reset button ". 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP-6    Click " OK " and wait for few seconds to finish resetting.  

 

 

 


 

 

By one click on the RST/WPS button  

 

1. Press and hold the RST/WPS button for about 10 seconds, until the CPU led blink quickly. 

2. After nearly 30 seconds, resetting is finished.  

 

 

 

 

It is suitable for:  G150R, G300R, iPuppy5

STEP-1 

Connect your computer to the router by cable, enter http://192.168.1.1.

STEP-4 

Choose your country and the ISP you cooperates, enter User Name, Password provided by your ISP,  

Click " Next ". 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP-5 

By default, the SSID is TOTOLINK ND300, you can change it as you like. Then select WPA2 Mixed (Recommended) for Encryption. Enter password, click " Apply "  to make all settings work. 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 Mac Settings:   

 

1. Search for SSID TOTOLINK EX300 , click connect. 

2. After connected successfully, please launch System Preferences from the Apple menu. 

3. Click on the Network icon. 

4. In the lower right, click on the Advanced button. 

5. Choose TCP/IP , in the pulldown menu next to “ Configure IPv4 ” select  “ Manually 

6. Fill in the IP address :  192.168.1.100 

                subnet mask :  255.25.255.0 

                            router:  192.168.1.254 

7. Click OK

8. Click Apply

 

 

 

EX300 Web Log in: 

 

Open any browser 

1. Type in 192.168.1.254 in the address field of Web Browser. Then press Enter Key.

 

 

 

 

2. Click Setup Tool :

 

 

 

 

3. Enter User Name and  Password. Both are admin in lower case letters.

 

 

 

 

4. Click Extender Setup, choose Start to enable repeater function. Click Search AP.

 

 

 

 

5. Choose the one you would like to connect, and click Select AP.

 

 

 

 

6. If the SSID you selected is encypted, it will pop below window reminding you to input

the network key to connect. Click OK.

 

 

 

 

7. Enter the right Encryption key to connect. Then click Apply.

 enable or disable login authentication.

 User ID & Password

 If you enabled login authentication,

 please provide the User ID & Password for verifying.

 

 

 

STEP-3

Connect to the router by cable or WiFi.

 

 

STEP-4  

Type in the website (URL to connect) to the address bar of the web browser. 

 

  

 

 

STEP-5 

Enter the User name and password that you have set before, and then click Log In. 

 

 

 

STEP-6 

The list interface will appear and double click the file name of your USB device (e.g.HDD1). 

 

 

 

 

STEP-7 

Now you can visit and download the data in the USB storage. 

The router s setting interface allows you to setup basic and advanced settings for better network experience. If you want to login to TOTOLINK router s setting interface to configure some settings, please follow the steps below.

STEP-1.
The default IP address of TOTOLINK router is 192.168.1.1, the default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0. Please restore factory settings before you want to login.

 

Now follow below steps to log in the setting interface.

 

1-1. Connect your computer to the router by cable or wireless, then login the router
       by entering http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your browser.


  

 

1-2. Please click " Setup Tool " icon   to enter the router s setting interface.


  

 

1-3. Please login to the Web Setup interface (the default user name and password is admin).


  

    Now you can log in the router s interface to set up.

 


STEP-2.
If do not want to restore the router to the factory settings, please follow the introduction below.

 

2-1. Connect your computer to the router by cable or wireless


2-2. Setup you PC to get the IP automatically (Here I take system XP for example)


? Click on   at the bottom right corner on the screen
 

? Click on " Properties " button in the lower left corner
 

? Double click on “ Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) ”
 

? Select “ Obtain an IP address automatically ” or Using the following IP Address

  (The IP address is 192.168.1.xxx (“xxx” range from 2 to 254), the Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0

   and Gateway is 192.168.1.1).

 

 

? Don not forget to click “ OK ” to save the configuration.

 


2-3. Check the IP address you get automatically in the former step


  


The IP address is 192.168.1.24, it means the network segment of your PC is 1,
you should enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your browser.
Enter the routers setting interface similarly and do some settings.

 

STEP-1   

Log into the Web page, choose " Advanced Setup ->USB Storage ->Service Setup ".  

Click " Windows File Sharing (SAMBA) ".  

 

 


STEP-2   

Choose Start to enable the Windows File Sharing function. Please type in the right Samba Server name and Workgroup. Then setup the User configuration. 

 

 


Property

 ON

 only allow to read the shared file.

 Read/Write

 allow to read and change files in shared file folder.

 OFF

 both read and write are not allowed.

 

Here we take Read/Write for example, please enter the User ID and Password. Then click " Apply " to save the settings.

 

 

 

STEP-3   

Please open Run application, type in 192.168.1.1

 

 

 


 

 

STEP-4   

Wait for a moment, you are required to enter your User ID and Password. Then you will see the shared file folder.

 

 

 

 

STEP-5

You can read or change any files in this shared folder. 

 

 


 

 

 

File server can be created quickly and easily by TOTOLINK router’s USB port. Here we  introduce how to configure FTP service on router.

 

 

STEP-1

Stores the resource files you want to share with others into the USB flash disk or hard drive before you plug it into the router’s USB port.

 

 

STEP-2  

Access the Web interface of the router by typing 192.168.1.1 in the address field of Web browser.   

Click " Setup Tool ". Enter admin for both user name and password.  

 

 

 

 

 

STEP-3 

Click " Advanced Setup->USB Storage->Service Setup " on the left menu bar.  

 

 


 

 

 STEP-4 

The FTP Service will show up and please choose " Start " to enable the service.   

 


 

 

 Character Set

 setup the unicode transformation format, the default is UTF-8.

 FTP Port

 enter the FTP port number to use, the default is 21

 User Configuration

 define the property and provide the User ID & Password for verifying while  

 enter the FTP server. 

 

 

 

STEP-5

Connect to the router by cable.

 

 

 

STEP-6

Enter ftp://192.168.1.1 in the address bar of My Computer or the web browser.   

 


 

 

 

STEP-7

Enter the User name and Password that you have set before, and then click Log On. 

 


 

 

 

STEP-8

You can access the data in the USB device now.

 

 

 

STEP-1 

Before using this function, please make sure you have connected to the Internet. 

 

 

STEP-2 

Log into the Web page, choose " Advanced Setup ->USB Storage ->Service Setup ". Click Torrent. 

 

 

 


 

STEP-3 

The Torrent page will show up below and please choose " Start " to enable the service.  

Then click Download Transmission Remote. 

 

   

 

 

 Remote ID

 define the ID for opening the torrent file.

 Remote Password

 enter the password to open the Torrent file.

 Download Folder

 choose the path on USB storage to store the file. 

 

 

 

 

STEP-4 

Click " Apply " to start the download and you can download the file by router now.  

 

The A5004NS provides a USB 3.0 port that supports Media Server to make Media file sharing easier.

 

STEP-1 

Log into Web page, choose " Advanced Setup -> USB Storage -> Service Setup ". Click " Media Server ". 

 

 

 


 

STEP-2   

The Media Server page will show up below and please choose " Start " to enable the service. 

Then enter the Server Name, Media folder, Click " Apply " 

 

 

 

 

TOTOLINK Routers with one USB port supports URL Service to make file sharing easier.

 

 

STEP-1

Log into the Web page, choose " Advanced Setup -> USB Storage -> Service Setup ". Click " URL Service ". 

 

 

 

 


 

STEP-2

TOTOLINK A5004NS provides a USB 3.0 port that supports USB Tethering function, which allows users to access the Internet by Smartphone when the router’s WAN port is disabled.

 

STEP-1

Log into the Web page, choose " Advanced Setup ->USB Storage ->Service Setup ". Click " USB Tethering ". 

 

 

STEP-2  

The USB Tethering page will show up below and please choose Start to enable the service.   

 

 

STEP-3   

Click " Apply ". Then connect your Smartphone to the router by WiFi. Enable USB Tethering function on your Smartphone. You can share the phone’s Internet with other devices.
